Privacy policy

The app

The pUZles app creates no account and asks for no personal information. We ourselves collect no analytics from the app and operate no tracking of our own.

The free version of the app shows advertising supplied by a third-party advertising network. To serve those ads that network receives technical information from your device — typically a resettable advertising identifier, general device and app information, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. That processing is governed by the advertising network’s own privacy policy, not this one. Buying the ad-free upgrade stops those requests entirely.

Apart from serving those ads, the app contacts us only when you choose to submit the Feedback form inside it.

Game progress, settings and statistics are stored only on your device, using the operating system’s own local storage for apps. We cannot read that data, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app.

To be finalised The advertising network has not been chosen yet. Before publication this section must name it, link to its privacy policy, and match the Google Play Data safety declaration.

Feedback and the contact form

When you send feedback from the app, or a message from the support form on this website, we receive the message text, the category you picked, the app version and platform, and any contact details you chose to add (Facebook, email or phone).

That information is sent to Softiviti Inc. by email and is used for one purpose only: to read your message and, if you gave us a way to reply, to reply to it. It is kept in that mailbox for as long as it is useful to support the app, and it is never sold, rented or shared with anyone else.

Contact details are optional. A message sent without them is anonymous to us, apart from what you choose to write in it.

Nothing you submit is written to a database or stored on this website. The server builds an email, sends it and forgets the request.

This website

This website uses a self-hosted installation of Plausible Analytics to count page views. Plausible sets no cookies, stores no personal data, does not follow you across sites and reports only aggregated totals. There is nothing here for you to consent to, which is why you are not being shown a cookie banner.

The website sets no advertising or tracking cookies of any kind. If you start typing a message in the support form, a draft is kept in your own browser’s local storage so you do not lose it; it is cleared when the message is sent and never transmitted anywhere.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server access logs, which include IP addresses and browser user-agent strings. These are used to keep the service running and secure, and are rotated on a short schedule.

Children

The puzzles themselves are suitable for all ages, and we collect nothing from anyone who plays them.

Because the free version carries third-party advertising, the app is not directed at children, and the advertising network’s own age and content controls apply to what is shown.

Your rights and how to reach us

Because we hold nothing beyond the messages you choose to send us, there is usually nothing to access, correct or delete. If you have written to us and would like that correspondence deleted, ask through the support form and we will remove it.

We do not publish an email address on this site. All contact goes through the support form, which reaches the same mailbox.

pUZles is published by Softiviti Inc., a company incorporated in Canada. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above changes with it.
